This service is fully funded by the DCSF and provided by Avail, one of the UK's leading providers of consultancy services to the public sector. Since May 2008 Avail has provided more than 1,000 Value for Money (VfM) consultancy days to primary, secondary and special schools across England. All maintained schools in England are eligible for the free consultancy support.
The Avail team is on hand to provide independent support tailored to each school's needs, focused on practical action to help school leaders to develop plans that reflect their particular challenges. Avail’s education specialists are former school leaders so they understand the pressures that schools face.
